Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 it is the obligation of all employers to ensure that the workplace is safe for employees. This includes electrical safety. One of the most important areas of electrical safety is the regular inspection and testing of electrical appliances to ensure that they comply with the safety requirements set out in the relevant regulation, Australian Standard AS/NZS3760.

Here at 1st Choice Test Tag n Safety we ensure your electrical appliances comply with the relevant standard, but more importantly we ensure your appliances are electrically safe for your employee to use. We use some of the latest testing equipment available (Safe-T-Check Pro Logger) to ensure this is done to meet the Australian standard.

When your testing is complete we will provide you with a record log of all appliances tested, which forms a part of your OH&S risk management documentation, this document can also be used as part of your asset register.

Failure to comply with your obligations under OH&S legislation may also mean heavy penalities, and that your insurance company is not bound to cover a claim.
